So, "BMG's Idol targets record 1.2 million ship". Congratulations. No really. I enjoyed the final shows, and I am sure that Will, Gareth and Darius will all be successful. I wish that the finalists were offered the chance to vet and choose potential managers, record labels, record producers, executive producers, even songs – rather than having arranged marriages with all five. It would have been fun to have a phone-in to choose the right manager for the artist, rather than the other way round. Another time, another planet perhaps.
